Nickel plated casings with our new nickel plating process provides several key benefits, not limited to but including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading. Nickel plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals.

The Perfect Carry LoadThis load duplicates a +P handload I worked up years ago with the same "old-school" Nosler bullet. In wet newsprint, expansion was about 80-85 caliber (better than the very good Speer +P 200 gr. Gold Dot) and penetration was about 15". The added velocity puts this round in the medium .44 mag. range in terms of power. This is the perfect .45 ACP carry load in my book.

I'm not ashamed to use this as a carry load. Ran these through my Taurus 24/7 Pro C DS, 3.33" barrel at 15 yards and I'm not disappointed at all with the accuracy.A powerful load with a little recoil and a bit of a muzzle flash but, they definitely go boom. No failures whatsoever. I'm a true believer in Underwood and my wishlist says so!
